4 Days Tsavo East, Taita Hills & Amboseli

Day 1: Mombasa - Tsavo East National Park
Depart from Mombasa early in the morning to the Tsavo East National Park (The largest park in Kenya which covers an area of 13,747 km2). Enter the Tsavo East through Bachuma gate and commence your game viewing drive immediately en route to Aruba Dam (A water hole where animals come to drink water). Topographic and major attractions include Mudanda rock, Yatta plateau the longest Lava flow in the world 300kms long. Aruba dam, Gallana River which makes the lugard waterfalls which was discovered by Captain lugard. Tsavo East National park is generally flat, with dry plains and it consists of Semi-arid and grassland savanna. Tsavo East National Park is the Big five (Red elephant, lion, Rhino, leopard and buffaloes. Other common animals in the park are: lions, hippos, leopards, cheetahs, antelopes, buffaloes, common zebras, warthogs, baboons and about 450 species have recorded. You will arrive at the lodge in good time for lunch and rest. Later proceed for afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at camp/lodge. Meal plan: Lunch, Dinner
Day 2: Tsavo East National Park - Taita Hills Salt Lick Game Sanctuary
Enjoy early pre-breakfast game drive in search of the big cats of Tsavo before leaving to Taita Hills Salt Lick Game Sanctuary arriving in time for lunch and rest. Later proceed for afternoon game drive. Taita Hills wild life sanctuary was founded by the Hilton early seventies. It covers an area of 24,000 Ha. Physical attractions include thorny bushes, acacia forests, arid and savannah, swamp and Taita hills among others. Animals found here include elephants, lions, cheetah, zebras, giraffes, and many different types of birds such as ostriches, horny bills, guinea fowls, kingfishers and weaver birds. Dinner and overnight at camp/lodge. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 3: Taita Hills Saltlick - Amboseli
Enjoy early pre-breakfast game drive in search of the predators and grazers before leaving to Amboseli National Park with lunch enroute arrive in time for an afternoon game-drive. Amboseli National Park lies at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the Africa’s highest mountain at 5,896m whose snow-caped summit presents a splendid view on a clear day. Dinner and overnight at camp/lodge. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 4: Amboseli National Park - Mombasa
Wake up at 6.00 am for full breakfast followed by a short game drive and then depart to Voi 300 kms from Amboseli for lunch. After lunch, drive back to your hotel arriving late in the evening. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
